It’s an enticing open-air entertainment complex, located by the San Diego Harbor, and it just opened its doors in 2013. History
Before The Headquarters became a prime shopping and dining destination, it served as San Diego Police Headquarters. The San Diego police force was formed in 1889 and its headquarters were later built in 1939. Designed with Spanish and Mediterranean influences, the complex once included an indoor shooting range, jail, courtrooms, and even an emergency hospital. Although the center has since evolved into shops and restaurants, the structure remains on the National Register of Historic Places.

Come to The Headquarters with a sweet tooth. There are several shops and restaurants here that are certain to satiate even the strongest sugar cravings.
