Our city has had many major victories over the past year, including the grand opening of the extraordinary new Central Library, the hallmark of any great city; the implementation of the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan that will turn our front porch into a world-class gathering place; and, most recently, the approval by the California Coastal Commission to expand the San Diego Convention Center, undeniably a top contributor to our local economy.
